Equipment Demo and Exhibition Opportunity
The conference will include an exhibition area in which organizations are encouraged to showcase V2G standards-based technology advances, device and equipment demos related to V2G standardization. Exhibitors will receive tabletop space and adjacent floor space to accommodate displays, as well as recognition as Silver-level sponsors.
The Forum in October will be held at the
American Center for Mobility (ACM), which features extensive infrastructure for equipment demos -- including a 90-MW DTE Energy substation on site, as well as a live, non-exporting interconnection with the DTE grid. This allows for demos to be real-time displays of V2G systems in action.
Demo participants will have the opportunity to showcase their V2G technology thought leadership, standardization progress and innovations to key industry executives attending the 3-day Forum. As an official EV interoperability demo lab site supported by the U.S. Department of Energy, ACM has the goal of driving V2G development, deployment and interoperability in North America. This is a unique opportunity to participate in this extensive ACM V2G showcase and initiative.
Technologies appropriate for showcasing within the demos include:
- Bidirectional charger advances
- Grid-side converter technologies
- Split inverter models
- V2H / V2B and V1G as a stepping stone to V2G
- V2G power flow emulations
- Interconnection testing and system modeling platforms
- V2G Test Systems and Tools
- DER Management System, EVSE and interoperability with the grid
- V2G-DC and V2G-AC Rule 21 interconnection processes
- Cyber security issues related to V2G
- Utility communications sytems and protocols for DER services, including V1G and V2G
